Building the FCWii BoardThe FCWii board arrived from France today so I couldn't wait to start building. Fortunately, I had all the components needed so was able to get it fully built. After loading the Arduino bootloader onto the ATMEGA it all appears to test okay. Hopefully the Wii Motion Plus will arrive soon so that I can get the gyros installed.
Building the frameThe frame for the quadcopter arrived from Poland. I was horrified to see that there were no instructions whatsoever. This wasn't a problem as the frame went together quickly with no problems.
Adding motorsGot the motors fitted to the quadcopter frame tonight.
FCWii and Gyro Confirmed WorkingI got the Motion Plus gyro fitted to the FCWii tonight. I had some problems communicating with the board. Some time ago I made my own FTDI cable. I forgot that I made it switchable between 3.3v and 5v. I set it back to 5v (doh!) and everything suddenly started working brilliantly. Posted from my iPad
